CCTPA proposes collaboration on green transformation pillars in Con Dao

As a pioneer in carbon credit project development and green transition solutions in Vietnam, CCTPA proposed collaboration with the Con Dao Special Zone People’s Committee to implement a cluster of projects built on key pillars.

The proposals focus on forest protection and development associated with marine ecosystems, as well as advancing energy transition and green infrastructure. Priority initiatives include rooftop solar deployment and upgrading public lighting systems across the island.

In addition, CCTPA proposed a green mobility roadmap for 2026–2030, including the electrification of public and transport vehicles, alongside the development of EV charging stations and battery-swapping infrastructure.

Solutions for water and waste management, as well as the development of a Net Zero tourism model involving local tourism enterprises, were also identified as key components.

Advancing the vision of a green and sustainable Con Dao

CCTPA’s proposals at the conference provide an important basis for the Con Dao authorities and relevant stakeholders to refine development orientations and accelerate the next steps, including surveys, pilot programs, and implementation.

By partnering with strategic localities, CCTPA continues to affirm its role as a carbon solutions and green transformation partner, contributing to the realization of sustainable development and Net Zero goals in Vietnam.
