CCTPA attends the Launch Ceremony of CASTID Week 2025 in Can Tho
On December 9, the People’s Committee of Can Tho, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized the Launch Ceremony of CASTID Week 2025 (Can Tho Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Week 2025). The program aims to strengthen knowledge resources, foster innovation, and expand new growth drivers for the city in its next development phase.
CASTID 2025 marks an important step forward in enhancing the role of science and technology in the city’s green and sustainable economic development strategy.
Key orientations of CASTID 2025
CASTID 2025 focuses on three main directions to promote the role of science and technology in advancing the green economy. The event reinforces Can Tho’s ambition to become a central growth hub of the Mekong Delta. In addition, the program features a series of over twenty specialized activities taking place from December 16 to 20, 2025, including seminars, technology exhibitions, and business networking sessions. The week also emphasizes strengthening the innovation ecosystem, creating opportunities for government agencies, research institutions, and enterprises to collaborate in developing knowledge-based growth models.
CCTPA strengthens collaboration on carbon credits and emissions measurement tools
Within the framework of the event, CCTPA engaged in discussions with research institutions, regulatory bodies, and businesses regarding the demand for carbon credits, renewable energy certificates, and internationally standardized emissions measurement platforms.
These discussions focused on building carbon data infrastructure and supporting enterprises in implementing green development models aligned with the strategic directions of CASTID 2025.
