On the afternoon of December 9, CCTPA was honored to participate in the program “Ho Chi Minh City Leaders Meet with the Science, Technology, and Innovative Startup Community,” organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee at the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Hub (SIHUB). The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders within the City’s innovation ecosystem, including representatives from government departments and agencies, experts, as well as technology enterprises and startup communities.
Within the framework of the program, delegates engaged in discussions and shared perspectives on orientations for science and technology development, innovation, and solutions to promote sustainable growth. These exchanges contributed to strengthening connections between the public and private sectors in the City’s green transition process.
Practical insights from CCTPA in the carbon credit sector
In our role as a consultancy and developer of carbon credit projects, CCTPA shared practical insights gained from supporting enterprises and local authorities in implementing emission reduction activities. The discussions focused on integrating policy, technology, and market mechanisms to gradually realize Net Zero targets.
In addition, CCTPA introduced climate technology solutions aligned with Ho Chi Minh City’s green transition needs, demonstrating its commitment to accompanying the City in promoting a green economy and sustainable development based on innovation.
CCTPA’s carbon solution ecosystem at the event
At the event, CCTPA showcased its comprehensive carbon solution ecosystem through an exhibition booth, aiming to make practical contributions to the City’s green and sustainable economic development goals. A key highlight was the Carbon Credit Exchange, a carbon credit commercialization model designed to transparently and efficiently connect Vietnamese enterprises with regional and international markets.
At the same time, CCTPA presented CarbonFly, a solution leveraging UAV and LiDAR technologies for high-precision measurement and inventory of agricultural and forestry carbon stocks. In addition, the Catalyst platform was introduced as a tool to support enterprises in greenhouse gas inventory, emissions management, and tracking emission reduction roadmaps, meeting increasingly stringent reporting requirements and sustainability standards.
City leaders visit CCTPA’s technology exhibition booth
As part of the program, Mr. Trần Lưu Quang, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and Mr. Đặng Minh Thông, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, visited the technology exhibition booths of CCTPA and CT UAV. City leaders expressed strong interest in measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) solutions for the carbon credit market, as well as technology solutions supporting enterprises in their green transition, as presented by CCTPA at the event.
The delegation highly appreciated the pioneering spirit of CT Group and CCTPA’s technological capabilities in integrating ESG standards with digital platforms, thereby creating tangible value for sustainable development. These contributions are regarded as positive drivers in helping Ho Chi Minh City advance its green ecosystem, develop the digital economy, and progressively integrate with global trends.
