CCTPA at CASTID Week 2025: Contributing to Innovation and Green Transition in Can Tho

Within the framework of the Can Tho Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Week 2025 (CASTID 2025), Carbon Credit Trading Platform JSC (CCTPA) actively participated throughout the event’s key activities, from the opening ceremony and technology exhibitions to knowledge-sharing programs with students.

CCTPA’s engagement in CASTID 2025 clearly demonstrates its role within the science and technology, innovation, and green transition ecosystem, particularly in the Mekong Delta region.

CCTPA attends the opening ceremony of CASTID Week 2025

On the morning of December 9, 2025, the Can Tho People’s Committee, in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized the opening ceremony of CASTID Week 2025, marking the launch of a series of activities aimed at promoting science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the city.

CASTID 2025 was implemented with the orientation of reinforcing Can Tho’s role as a regional growth engine in the Mekong Delta, featuring more than 20 in-depth activities over five days to connect knowledge, technology, and innovation resources for local development.

At the opening ceremony, CCTPA engaged in professional discussions with regulatory authorities, research institutions, and businesses on the demand for carbon credits, renewable energy certificates, as well as internationally standardized tools for emissions measurement and inventory. These exchanges opened opportunities for cooperation in developing carbon data infrastructure and supporting enterprises in implementing green development models aligned with the overall objectives of CASTID 2025.

CCTPA booth at CASTID 2025: Technology solutions toward Net Zero

Within CASTID Week 2025, CCTPA, together with CT Group, was honored to welcome delegations from central authorities and the Can Tho city government to its technology booth. Delegates directly experienced and discussed advanced solutions in digital transformation, clean energy, and emissions reduction.

At the exhibition area, CCTPA introduced its comprehensive carbon solutions ecosystem, including a carbon credit exchange model connecting Vietnamese enterprises with regional and international markets; CarbonFly, a solution applying UAV technology integrated with LiDAR for forest management and carbon stock inventory; and Catalyst, a platform supporting transparent, standardized greenhouse gas inventory, management, and reporting for enterprises.

These solutions not only provide technological tools but also contribute to strengthening carbon governance practices, enabling enterprises to optimize emissions reduction strategies and enhance the credibility of environmental reporting in the context of international integration.

CCTPA accompanies Can Tho students at CASTID 2025

As part of CASTID 2025 activities held at Can Tho University, CCTPA participated in the forum “Innovation and Entrepreneurship among Can Tho Students.” The sharing session by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, Vice General Director of CCTPA, offered practical perspectives on building innovation in a structured and sustainable manner.

According to him, innovation should be grounded in scientific foundations, logical thinking, and rigorous research, rather than intuitive or emotional approaches. While stepping outside one’s comfort zone is necessary, it must be accompanied by responsibility and risk management capabilities to transform ideas into tangible value.

CCTPA’s message to students emphasized that sustainable innovation requires knowledge, discipline, and continuous collaboration among academia, businesses, and society.

Participation in the “Triple Helix Linkage” forum to promote innovation

CCTPA also took part in the “Triple Helix Linkage” Forum, attended by local leaders, universities, research institutes, and enterprises, to discuss cooperation among the State, academia, and businesses in driving innovation, digital transformation, and green economic development.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung shared insights from Israel’s Startup Nation model and proposed its application in the Mekong Delta: the State prioritizes the adoption of startup technologies, universities and research institutes establish Innovation Centers to address business challenges, and enterprises focus on commercializing solutions.

This activity reaffirmed CCTPA’s commitment to strengthening triple-helix collaboration, accelerating innovation, and advancing green transition goals in the region.

CCTPA at CASTID 2025: Commitment to the innovation ecosystem

Through its series of activities at CASTID 2025, CCTPA continues to reaffirm its commitment to accompanying local authorities, the business community, and the younger generation in promoting science and technology, innovation, and green transition.

CCTPA believes that through the synergy of technology, knowledge, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta will gradually build a sustainable development ecosystem where innovation is transformed into concrete socio-economic value.
