On December 23, 2025, CCTPA attended the launch ceremony of the Recycling Science and Technology Institute (VRI), marking an important milestone in the industrialization and transparency of Vietnam’s recycling sector.
VRI is expected to serve as a bridge between regulatory policies, scientific research, and the practical needs of enterprises, contributing to enhanced competitiveness and compliance with increasingly stringent environmental standards.
VRI’s development orientation
At the launch event, delegates highlighted VRI’s role in assessing, screening, and recommending technological solutions suitable for Vietnam’s production and business conditions.
The Institute will also support enterprises in integrating eco-design into products and packaging from the early stages, laying the foundation for sustainable, environmentally friendly business solutions aligned with the national green growth strategy.

Through the event, CCTPA acknowledged VRI’s strategic orientations and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting enterprises in the effective implementation of recycling projects.
CCTPA will continue to collaborate with regulatory authorities and research institutions to develop environmental solutions, promote the green transition toward Net Zero, and contribute to the advancement of a circular economy in Vietnam.
