CCTPA participates in launch ceremony of Can Tho City Science, technology, innovation and digital transformation week 2025 (CASTID 2025)

On December 9, the People’s Committee of Can Tho City, in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, officially launched the Can Tho Week of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation 2025 (CASTID 2025).
The program aims to strengthen knowledge resources, foster innovation, and unlock new growth drivers for the city in its next phase of development.

CASTID 2025 marks an important milestone in enhancing the role of science and technology within Can Tho’s strategy for green and sustainable economic development.

Key strategic orientations of CASTID 2025

CASTID 2025 focuses on three core orientations to reinforce the contribution of science and technology to green economic growth. The event underscores Can Tho’s ambition to become a regional growth hub for the Mekong Delta.
In parallel, a series of twenty in-depth activities will be organized from December 16 to 20, 2025, including thematic workshops, technology exhibitions, and business networking sessions.

The program also emphasizes strengthening the innovation ecosystem by creating collaboration opportunities among policymakers, research institutions, and enterprises to develop knowledge-based growth models.

CCTPA strengthens cooperation on carbon credits and emissions measurement tools

Within the framework of CASTID 2025, CCTPA engaged in discussions with research organizations, regulatory bodies, and businesses regarding the demand for carbon credits, renewable energy certificates, and internationally standardized emissions measurement platforms.

These exchanges focused on building carbon data infrastructure and supporting enterprises in implementing green development models aligned with the strategic orientations highlighted at CASTID 2025.

Affirming CCTPA’s role in promoting green transition in the Mekong Delta

CCTPA’s participation in CASTID 2025 reflects its strong commitment to supporting the science and technology ecosystem through the provision of comprehensive carbon solutions.
These solutions enable enterprises across the Mekong Delta to accelerate their green transition, enhance competitiveness, and meet international environmental standards.
